There are LOTS of puppets in Luna's Sea, and even more ideas for puppets that we're still working on. The show is officially opened, but we'll be adding new fish and new effects throughout our first season (which you can keep watching here on the blog!)The latest is the angler fish! First Jen McClure made a little test puppet out of wire to figure out how his mouth would open and his tail would flap. And then she made his full size skeleton out of rattan. He is BIG! Here he is in the Yale paint shop waiting for his skin to be put on:
