Jen McClure is a props artisan and puppet builder originally from New Jersey and currently residing in New Haven, CT. She received her BFA from Alfred University in Ceramics and Sculpture. She is currently the Props Assistant for the Yale Rep Theatre, a company member of A Broken Umbrella Theatre and has designed sets and props for the Yale Cabaret, as well as working with the Goodspeed Opera House, Hartford Stage Company, and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Notable productions include: Beauty and the Beast; Crazy for You; The King and I; I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change (Merry-Go-Round Playhouse); Evil Dead: The Musical!, The Little Prince, The Surrender Tree, Strange Love in Outer Space, 3 Sisters or the Dormouse's Tale (Yale Cabaret), Thunderbolt, iMarvel, VaudeVillain (Broken Umbrella). Previously, she toured with Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey circus with their props crew and lived on the circus train for 6 months. She has a particular affinity for any life that dwells in the sea and is extremely excited to bring this magical production to life!
